To promote the value of cultural activity and motivate people at local level to protect and conserve our cultural heritage.
The direct benefits which flow from this purpose, include the improved conversation of items of cultural and heritage value such as films,documents, ect. and a greater cross-community interest in matters of mutual cultural value.
PURPOSE 3 to promote such other charitable purposes as from time to time be determined.
All or any future activities carried out under this charitable purpose will be for the public benefit.
The above benefits are variously evidenced through record of attendance at activities such as talks and digital presentations, feedback from local beneficiaries of the purposes primarly are those living nearby within Ballykelly Limavady and Magilligan but are open to the whole community interested in the activities of the Shackleton and Aviation Museum. There are no private benefits arising from this purpose.
All talks and visits to the museum are free of charge but the organisation takes donations, which are recorded.
Members wishing to buy the three quarterly magazines are charged £12 per year including package and posting. all souviners and magazines sold to the public are recorded. The trustees are satisfied that no beneficiary is excluded due to fees
